Easy Cilantro Lime Shrimp Tacos Recipe

A delicious and easy recipe that comes together quickly with simple ingredients.
Ingredients
- Cilantro Lime Shrimp
- 2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, grated
- 2 limes, zested and juiced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 lb. tail-on shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- Tacos
- 6″ corn or flour tortillas
- 1 bag of coleslaw mix
- 8 oz shredded cheese (white cheddar or queso blanco)
- 8 oz sour cream
Instructions
- 1In a large skillet over medium heat add olive oil and garlic.
- 2Saut for 1 minute.
- 3Add lime zest and juice, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and shrimp.
- 4Cook until shrimp is pink, about 2-5 minutes.
- 5Turn off heat and add butter and cilantro.
- 6Stir until butter is melted and creates a smooth and silky sauce.
- 7Add more salt and pepper as needed
