Belgian Waffles Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 large eggs, separated
- 1.5 cups milk
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- handful of fresh blueberries. raspberries, strawberries, or blackberries
- honey or syrup
Instructions
- 1Separate eggs placing yolks in one bowl and egg whites on another bowl. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- 2In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar and baking powder.
- 3In the third bowl, lightly beat egg yolks. Add milk, melted butter and vanilla extract; mix well. Stir into dry ingredients just until combined. Fold into combined batter.
- 4Baked in preheated waffle iron according to manufacturer directions or until golden brown
- 5Fold in beaten egg whites.
